Israeli property group targets London’s ‘Silicon Valley’
An Israeli-owned property company, Izaki Group Investments, are planning to build a block of 119 luxury loft-style apartments in London’s trendy Shoreditch area - which is fast becoming known as London’s Silicon Valley. The “Long and Waterson” apartments will service the executives and employees of the local start-up and technology companies who have flooded into the area over the past five years.
Earlier this year, Amazon moved their UK headquarters into Principal Place in Shoreditch, which will become the offices of up to 5000 Amazon employees.
Apartments in the Long and Waterson block - inspired by New York High Line linear park - will start at £695 000, and be serviced by a 24 hour concierge, gym, sauna, treatment rooms and a cinema.
