From the 20th June right through until the 28th. The Proms at St Jude’s Music & Literary Festival will be offering attendees more than just music and literature. They will be offering people the opportunity to take part of expert-led walks that that demonstrate the importance of Hampstead Garden Suburb, the history of its architecture and of the town planning.
Individuals also have the opportunity to take a tour of Golders Green Crematorium, where you get to see the fine listed buildings, its gardens and remember not only the famous, but the influential people who have lived there, and you can also take a walk around old Hampstead exploring the lives of renowned poets, authors, artists and scientists.
For those who don’t know, Proms at St Jude’s is a community festival of music and culture taking place each June in Hampstead Garden Suburb. They aim to provide the Hampstead community with the opportunity to view daily concerts with some of the best national and international artists, music recitals and LitFest weekend with some of the bestselling authors.
So don’t miss out on this opportunity to not only be exposed to a great community of culture and music, but to the history of Hampstead.
